Amanda Poe, Attorney at Law
Amanda Poe is a certified specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law as certified by the State Bar of California April 30, 2019. Ms. Poe currently dedicates the majority of her practice to representing injured workers in workers’ compensation claims but also represents severely disabled workers applying for social security disability benefits. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Carolina University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law. She was previously admitted to practice law in North Carolina before moving to San Francisco. Now she is admitted to practice law in California and is a member of the State Bar of California Workers’ Compensation Section and the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (CAAA). Ms. Poe is a past president of the San Francisco Chapter of the CAAA. She was previously an associate attorney with the Law Office of Michelle D. Brodie and is now managing her own law practice. As an attorney, Ms. Poe loves meeting new clients, answering tough questions, and doing what is necessary to get injured workers the benefits they deserve. In 2019, Ms. Poe was voted applicant’s attorney of the year by the San Francisco Chapter of CAAA.
